Tri-System Astrology API
Support
Triad Astro is a birth chart calculation service covering Western (tropical), Vedic (sidereal), and Chinese (BaZi / Four Pillars) systems. This page explains how to get help with the API, the MCP server, or the ChatGPT app.
Contact
Email [email protected] with questions, bug reports, or access requests. The service is maintained by an individual, so replies are generally sent within a few business days.
What to Include in a Bug Report
- The birth date, time, and location used, so the result can be reproduced
- Which system looked wrong: Western, Vedic, or Chinese
- What you expected and what you received
- Whether you used the ChatGPT app, the MCP endpoint, or the HTTP API directly
- The approximate time of the request, which helps locate it in the logs
Common Issues
- The ascendant or houses look wrong. These depend on an exact birth time. If no time is supplied the service defaults to 12:00 noon and returns a warning; the ascendant, house placements, and the Chinese hour pillar are unreliable in that case.
- Western and Vedic signs disagree. This is expected, not an error. The two traditions use different zodiacs and currently differ by roughly 24 degrees due to precession.
- A location resolved to the wrong place. Ambiguous city names can match several places. Supply an explicit latitude, longitude, and IANA timezone, or a more specific place name.
- Requests are being rate limited. Limits are applied per IP address. Wait a minute and retry.
